Will crysis pull you away from PR?
So, will people stay with PR or are people going to leave for crysis?
So far the hype behind this game has never been seen before, this is a gamers game as the rig you need to play it with has to be top notch. Most PR players are serious gamers.

These threads fail
For one thing Crysis is primarily a singleplayer game with tacked on deathmatch multiplay and most gamers will have exhausted its potential in a month. A constantly and iteratively updating multiplayer only game tends to have a longer lifespan often measured in months/years. PR will continue on its merry way mostly unaffected over the longer term

Curently, for me only game that might compete to PR is far Cry 2
(as far as general feeling and reality goes).

to be honest these days i do not buy FPS games any more for the single player or even the vanilla multiplayer i buy the game for the mods, so it all depends on what mods and how good they are before i decied to buy a game and it seems more people are doing so
C'est magnifique, mais ce n'est pas la guerre. C'est de la folie

I would need to buy an 8800 and Vista before I even bother with Crysis. It just seems like too much effort in getting a good machine to play that game. And my opinion is that with games like those, there's really no point in trying to play with minimum settings because the visuals are really the big draw with those games.
Besides even if I did have Crysis, it wouldn't mean that I'd stop playing PR. Nothing wrong with 2 or more games sitting on your hard drive (if you can afford the disk space that is
)
But if anything, I'll still be playing PR, and I think a lot of other people will continue to do so as well. I mean hell, I've been playing PR for over 2 years already and I don't intend to stop, especially with some of the new exciting content expected to come in the future (New factions, maps etc.)

RANGERS LEAD THE WAY!!!
Do not post stupid suggestions just because you had a bad round in PR
