Mobile Spawn Points
As some of you remember in POE, with the big plane that flew round high in the sky all controlled by AI on a set path, and all you would have to do is select this moving plane as a spawn point on your map and as soon as you spawned in you could jump out the back of this plane and parachute down to where ever you wanted on the map. As this plane was always moving about you could sort of choose where u jumped out. This would mean that you could jump out over a control point with a bunch of other guys and then scure it, then wait for the enemy tanks rolling up the road to try and push you and your men off

I have been suggesting something a little different for BF2 since the release of the game, a system that would eliminate potential spawn-camping and loopsided stalemates against the mainbase.
The commander simply sends in a transport plane which fly over the map (prefereably in a custom direction) for say 30-40 seconds, during which time your team can spawn as parachuters beneath it. The entire team could get away from the mainbase so fast the enemy wont even know what hit em... While they are busy rampaging your pretty worthless base camp, you've taken all the other flags
With a player controlled plane it gets to easy to control it, ie it'll help little against basecamping if someone has stolen it... Although having both wouldnt be too bad.

But are all infantry qualified to use parachutes? I dont think so because at the moment we only have the spec ops armed with parachutes. Good idea, but maybe not realistic enough. However if the delay was long enough it would force squads to really be together, enforcing teamwork instead of spawning at different intervals.

No I do not want to die playing a game (unrealism fans have been using this against me for years)

I like that idea. Wasnt it in bf42. But it would work for SF or airborne

Air force definition of explosives: A loud noise followed by the sudden going away of what was once there a second ago.
Retreating?! Hell no, we're just attacking the other direction!

Why the stupid argument about chutes?!?!
Paratroopers dont die because they dont have chutes, do they? The Allies didnt fall down like raindrops over Normandy because someone in charge decided that the troops dont wear parachutes, did they?
When being deployed in such action everyone would of course be given a one-shot parachute, duh.
