Map, not mod. Umm, put the map download in your levels folder, I dont think you need the server fix. If it crashes on you in Local Server, then download the server fix, and replace the server.zip with the downloaded one. Look at one of the other maps in Battlefield 2/mods/pr/levels/<-map goes here.

That map file is terribly outdated though... many things have been added...

Hm? no server except MAYBE one should be running it. Its not in the PR lineup or anything (Duh) so dont expect that. Really all the file is for is so people can run their own local server and play test it some and just fly around etc.

However, many changes have been made between the version that is up for download and the version i am working on... So dont let the version you have scare you away from future releases ;)

Oh, well, there was a server a while back, but it was for a filming crew. It might not be up still. Just sort by map and scroll down alphabetically. or create your own local server. Either way you will prolly be the only one in it ;)

I'll work hard to get this out soon.

UPDATE!! ITS NOT DEAD YET!!
Here's some pics. Nothing too great. Freakin "Freecam" would NOT cooperate, at all. I swear I've put in the console command before... but apparently not? At any rate, it wouldnt work. SO here are some crappy screens showing off:

Ground textures! Yay! The ground is a lot more diverse with grass, sand, rocky sand and two types of trash textures...

Roads! Got roads working! Yay! Really helps grid out the city.

There are three Insurgent "safe houses" as IronTaxi calls them. They are still WIP, but the general idea is that they will be moderately fotified and I will place an ammo cache inside each one (Although this will NOT be INS mode where you must destroy the ammo caches, it WOULD help the BlackHawks not having so many RPG's flying at them ;) )

Ummm, yeah... thats really it. i mean, its taken a ot of work to get the new textures done. Been really busy here on my end. I also fixed the outside of the city to look a lot less bland.

If I get freecam working, Ill take some real "Screen shots"

Till then!

(thinking about possibly releasing a new version soon for fun and feedback... i hate knowing people still have one of my crappy old versions on their PC...)

the wall in that pic looks very odd and out of place...

I would also look for a more sandyish colour sky personally :)

Yeah Rhino, those walls are gonna be sandbags, I just couldnt find them at the time... :)

Sandy sky? You mean just texture right? I'll look through them. I honestly dont think ive looked at the sky since I began work on the city... :) would be nice to pick out a matching sky I guess :)

Lightmaps. I havent run them for a while, but the ones you see should be from when I ran it on medium (the one that failed 3/4 through) So only 3/4 have lightmaps. Ill run them before I release this time, I promise.

nice looking good...i would say take the cammo net off the roof for one very simple reason...it screams here is the safehouse try to make it blend in as much as possible...i have some ideas if you need any on how to do it... :)

Does look good, try getting the fog colour to match the sky colour though. As Rhino suggests you could also try a sandy sky, karkand sky perhaps?

Yes, IronTaxi, I would love and appreciate your ideas, haha. i messaged you on MSN earlier but you didnt answer, now you're offline :)

Message me the next time you are available. i was actually planning on all those buildings being safe houses (there are three of them, i think) Is that too obvious? The problem is there arent many houses that you can enter except those kinds... But removing the camo netting would make it less obvious I suppose.

Dr Rank, I checked that out just a few minutes ago. But closed before I could screen shot...oops? I either chose Karkands sky, or i chose another similar that had an orangish tint on the bottom of the texture, sort of blends ina lot more. Better transition.

Anyway, IronTaxi, Id love to hear your ideas. The safe houses was your call to begin with! :) All I was gonna do was put some sand bag walls up on the roofs and on the streets out front of it and put an ammo cache inside. That way the INS would better want to protect it. There are ammo caches outside in a few market areas, but those are not easily defendable and could easily be taken out with a blackhawk or the AH-6. The three caches inside would be easier to defend if your team was at all concerned about having readily available ammo.
