Graphics on the other hand are amazing in ArmA.

I might actually buy BF3 if it's ever a chosen platform for PR's future, cause the engine seen in Battlefield Bad Company has shown (through media) to be quite interesting.
That's not amazing graphics^

The destruction of buildings is a pr thing. Its not a new idea, they've been saying it since doom but pr is the first time Ive ever seen it used.

They are bound to nick stuff like rallys and just make it uber arcadey or is that allready in 2142, Ive not played it

Arma looks allright but amazing would be something like crysis on top settings. Its an exponential scale I think, its very hard to move things on substantially, more likely they move sideways like the cartoon graphics in TF2

LOL, well i was meaning "nuts" in a good way, like uhh "hardcore" or "sticklers".

just my self here but i dont care for arcade mode anymore. i never really was in love with it, but before i found this mod that really all that was there.

i just cant see laying down c4 packs standing on them , hit the clicker to blow yourself in air onto a small building, its just goofey. but everybody is different, peep who like that stuff, more power to them.

ArmA has good graphics, but the problem with it is that its a resource hug, people with 8800GTS can't run it on maxxed settings at reasonable framerate, I run it at medium 1440x900 with 2.5k viewdistance and I get some real slowdowns[pc spec in profile].

I never seen ArmA looking so good as in your screenshots Bosco, is that using any graphic addons or photoshop?

They aren't made by me, but they seem to be made only using the ingame "blur" function and camera script.

The pics are from the Photography thread on the BIS forums? I run ArmA on very high settings and my PC is resonable, not a super computer and it looks bloody brilliant.
