3 man tank would be awsome. especially in the challengerII. the only concern i can see is what if you want to take the tank alone? (i know the idea behind it is teamwok but if noone else wants to participate) then you would't be able to drive and fire at the same time. in some occasions where only one person wants to play as armour it would rendor the tank in the mission useless, for its just a moving lump of metal who could just run people over.

Might just be me but this is kind of the whole reason for making multiple seats ... so a tank requires teamwork, not a one-man deal.jezzzy wrote:3 man tank would be awsome. especially in the challengerII. the only concern i can see is what if you want to take the tank alone? I say solo's idea, but seperate the commander and driver.
you end up with
driver
commander
main gunner( plus coaxial)
cupola gunner.
you also shouldn't be able to change positions inside the tank. make it so standing outside different areas of the tank allows you to enter it from different areas or somethign.
same with ALL vehicles like apcs and AA and ifvs. i don't wanna explain my whole thought process, but basically, because each tank would take 3 people at least to make work right, it's gonna be used with more value and less haphazard ness (not to mention move and shoot more like a real tank). it'll improve gameplay dynamic.

I thought there would be no 3rd person views for vehicles, no ?NikovK wrote:Of course the driver/machine gunner will toggle between a fixed internal view and the unbuttoned view, while still being able to crouch in the MG position. The trick is to bind them like an attack helicopter gunnery position; changing weapons changes views. While in driving mode, the driver has a limited field of view but his model is tucked away invulnerable. While on the Mg he can shoot, duck, and still use the control keys to steer.
See? That's not so hard, is it Devs?![]()

Could we recode a voip to work solely in tanks and squads when your out of the tank and tank comanders to platoon comanders and so on and so forth...
