i accidentally posted this before in the wrong forum it was the .6 feed back sorry.

i know there are lots of kinds of IEDs that real insurgents use it would be kinda cool to someway make different types of ieds for the insurgents. i dont know if its possible but i kinda have an ideas that might help... or they wont lol. anyway here they are.

1) *i know there is some ied that uses a barrel and blows the lid off which is very effective at penetrating armor* Maybe if you can make something that launches a tank shot or a beefed up tank shell and make it proximity detonated or remote but you would have to find some way to keep the rang low so they cant use it and just shoot ppl accross the level.

2) a shotgun shell trap that is kinda like a clay more but uses a shotgun shell that insurgents can put in door ways. *i know this is a real popular one that in used irl often with fishing line for trip wire*

3) remote triggered RPG somehow make a tow in to a rpg but have it triggred by remote

these are just some ideas that i thought of i dont know how difficult they will be to put in game or even if they can be at all thanks for listing

there are in fact 2 diffrent types of IEDs already in PR, but 1 looks like C4 and the other looks like a mine simpley cos the models are place holders till we can get around to makeing them a model, which is realitivly low priority as it will hardly change the gameplay aspect of the mod.

The C4 is remote donated IED, and the mine is a proximity detonated IED. All of this has been explained before and there is even pics of our Remote donated IED in a news post some time back which would have all came up in a good search.

EDIT: didnt in fact read all of your topic before got some nice ideas but I am pretty sure they have came up on the forums before.

Why make new models for them,technically,those mines,and C4 are explosives being improvised by the INS. But aren't there three,one is attached to the "big rig".

Why make a model for the L85A2, why dont we just use the M16? In fact, why dont we all just have a box for a gun? :D

I think the guy is trying to say is that Insurgents should get EFP's (Explosively formed penetrator). But anyways its already been sugested

okay Rhino...But I'm just saying,for the current IED's new models aren't needed for the Current IED's...
