great round on your server lately, but last 2 times i'v been on and kashan has been in the rotation the server has crashed??? could a solution be switching to the 32 player version of the map?

I dont know where to post this so posting it in the feedback thread seems the best place...

Anyway, I seem to have been baned from the -Thors Brigade PR ABR SSM server.
Now I have no idea why I have been baned, all I remember about this was a few short comments over team chat and VOIP, somthing about us being baned after the round was over and (possibly) somthing about it being due to us useing our tanks to destroy the american vehicles as they approched goverment office on 'Qwai River'. I do not remember exactly what was said as I was busy leading the first squad I have ever actualy followed through with...

(Note, this is not all we did the whole round, I could list all the stuff we did to help and ONLY help the team but that would make this post far too long.)

IF my leading of my squad is the cause of the ban then I think this is totaly unjustified even for what I presume to be a short temporary ban.

I am still not 100% sure why me and possibly some other members of my squad where baned, and would like to have some explenation (and good reasoning) as to why, and how long the ban will last.

ban 72 hours, reason was stealing two(=all) tanks and driving off with them to where 2or3 engineers could do the same ambush as you finally did. im not willing to unban ppl earlier who not participate with the team and teamobjektives(estate).

You had two tanks drive from where they where slaughtering every single opposing vehicle coming all the way across the map to shoot a single heat shell into the roof of the Estate and kill 3 people...

Why could the rest of the team not do their job and kill said three people?
There was a hell of a load of troops just sitting at the bottom of the building refusing to actualy attack, I only saw Olesson attacking the roof...

After we moved from our positions we (the team) came under heavy attack from commander trucks APCs and hummers, all of which WE (the two tanks) killed on the way back from estate.

Our origional position not only kept the goverment office clear of all americans, but we also killed all the vehicles coming from pigfarm. At ANY time the rest of the team could have actualy gotten their act together and moved to the next flag, its not my fault that the whole team + two APCs cant take out 2 thirds their number of americans who had no armour/APC support...

We did not 'steal' tanks, how the hell do you 'steal' tanks? we had a squad plan and the squad set up to take full advantage of both tanks before the round even started, with two crewmen in each tank and engis to keep the tanks alive, every squad member doing his job and worked together.

Infact we kept the tanks alive almost the whole round, we had taken out many many infantry squads, hummers APCs command trucks and especialy heavy AT troops that where attempting to take us out.

After we lost only one tank to HAT while killing all the **** the rest of the team could not even FIND, we then used one of the wasted APCs that no one else had the ability to actualy drive without raming opfor mines and supported fishing village perfectly.

Not only that but the round before we did the same with the APCs on the US side and again provided the ONLY spawnpoint anywhere near the front lines, AGAIN keeping that APC alive the whole time while in a suportive position.
We also in the same squad made use of the transport chopper and moved all the stranded infantry from pigfarm forwards and to the right objectives.

So all in all, my squad was the ONLY reason that team even won, both rounds.
We worked more for the team than the rest of our team put together...
Before I decided to start my own squad on the US side in the first round, our team was getting smacked every which way, and after I provided support with the heli and APC we actualy steamrolled the opposition.

You dont have to be sitting on your arse with the rest of the team to be supporting it.
I would have baned all those people who wrecked the APCs by blindly driving into mines, into close combat with infantry and right into freindly troops...

ATM the mapcycle is as follows:

-Thors Brigade PR ABR SSM- : Assault on Mestia, Ejod Desert, 7Gates, Kareem Abdul Jabal Al Burj, Operation Ghost Pain, Operation Penix, Qwai River, Sunset Shitty, Zatar Wetlands

-Thors Brigade City Maps ABR- : Street, Operation Penis, Ejod, Sunset Shitty and Assault on Mestia.

Although it may change - never know which bug/feature turns up next. ATM no Kashan since it crashes the server.

But even though there never are any Ammodumps in that area AFAIK, there's no saying there aint either.

we dont allow baserape on al basrah on our server in the same way as we dont allow to fly to the moon in a chesna while on our server.

We were playing Jabal on the TB server.

He was the commander on my team, MEC.

(Sorry for the grid showing up on the BR screenshots, I don't know why it's there)

I spawned on the commander truck.

He's driving, I'm the guy standing.

We get out, I think this is a good stop for a firebase.

I get out my shovel to show that I will help him build a firebase.

I stand there, waiting for him to place the firebase.

But then, he raises his sights?

As you see we are very close. I stand there, waiting to help him build.

We are not near any enemies. We are not under fire.

Them, BOOM. Xx-MastaKillah-xX fires, shooting my head.

My Commander, Xx-MastaKillah-xX, intentionally tked me while I was trying to help him. For no reason.

Please, BAN HIM.

Just FYI people, I answered his request here:

GeZe, because you're an R-CON I'm willing to listen to you more than I would some random person. But I think he was actually trying set a firebase foundation, aiming in your direction, pressed T to choose the BUILD/FIREBASE option, and then accidently closed the menu and fired a shot. BOOM HEADSHOT! He teamkilled you. To me it looks like that's how it went down. Did he apologise? If not, did you give him the chance to apologise? Honestly, I find banning somebody for a single TK is a bit harsh. A swift kick from the server is in order if you're positive it was intentional. But I didn't get the impression at the time that he really did it maliciously. Please correct me if I'm wrong, in case I missed something he typed or said to you via VOIP. In any case, I will keep an eye on Xx-MastaKillah-xX and deal with him as I would with anybody misbehaving on our server: kicking or banning his ***.

Hello this is my first post, unfortunately it is about a problematic issue. First i want to excuse me GeZe. Now i feel very sorry about what ive done, i really regret it now. if i had known about the discussion this would create i wouldnt have done it. but let me explain: i was commander on mec party and i wanted to build up a firebase there. also i must say i was a bit emotional this early evening because in the afternoon i visited a comolliton-party and i was a bit drunk, i like it to play PR under the influence of Alcohol

! so i drove my support truck up to this position, suddenly as i was driving, a red point appeared on the backseat of my truck. me and my soldiers got out, GeZe was the one soldier who appeared as a enemy( in the truck, on radar, and in my scopesight of my g3a3) i didnt know how i could help me in this situation, i wanted to create a firebase and time was hurrying(soldiers were waiting)and enemy was rushing. i took a short-circuit-decision and put my finger on the trigger, and shot: 1-2-3-4 times maybe. i thought at that moment: "Well he is red, a enemy,maybe he wants to give the information about our firebase to the enemy, i do nothing wrong if i kill him, ill get a frag for it! Shoot him!!!" But if i remember the scene now i must admit that it was wrong because GeZe was standing right in front of me with a shovel in his hand and wanted to help me, sorry mate, i feel very sorry. unless he was red he would have been a member of the usmc at this moment i killed him with intention, i dont know if it was right or wrong..... but forgive me mate! also i excused me GeZe, as we were playing jabal al burj again and we both were up the hills right next to my truck(i was mec commander again) at city under attack by us-forces and i was coughing and bleeding right before death, i really felt sorry about what i ve done! can you remember? i appeal serious to you GeZe plz forgive me! we re all soldiers, we do what we must!

Thanks for forgiving me GeZe. thanks for your support/theories ante,schrotti,tobac,juba,claudius... despite i must admit that it was intentionally in that moment, but fortunately GeZe accepted my excuse. so i preserved my honor. also i want to thank the pr-crew for developing such a good game, all players who ll keep pr alive and my favorite server: the TB server and its soldiers: its a pleasure to play with you!
