Although the scimitar armour is supposed to withstand small arms fire I read in the book 'Commanding The Desert Rats' that two or all of a scimitar crew were killed from T55/Copy Co-ax fire.
I believe the vehicle will be in game soon and was just seeing what the DEV's stance on this is.
Will it be up-armored to be 'fair' and possibly realistic (I imagine the deployed scimitars are up-armored)
or have default armor?

I would imagaine it would have armor somewhere around the heavy jeep to APC mark. Probubly not as heavy as an APC, but better than a saxon.
The key to modernising any weapon is covering them in glue and tossing them in a barrel of M1913 rails until they look "Modern" enough.
