All it takes is a load of money and you can buy anything you want. Just look at the Columbian Drug cartels. They almost got away with buying a Russian submarine with crew included.

This is exactly why i'd want to see a 'Colombian Drug Cartel' Milita, tweak the existing militia and you'd have a new faction

I think it would be plausible if the militia get an urban map, for them to have a stolen or real cheap civilian helo, no armament just a few seats.
If they found a way to acquire T-62s then you cant put is past them to find an old soviet helo. A Hind would be plausible, just hard for them to rearm. You could give them a Hind but give it a long spawn time and limited ability to rearm. or just make it a tough transport
The difference between militia and insurgetns imo is that the militia are a organized paramilitary force, comprised of ex-military officers and soldiers. They use military tactics to engage the enemy in open warfare.

Insurgents, only have a overriding objective against the current political goverment. They understand they cannot openly fight and resort to hit and run and suicided tactics.

Well, these guys are shown, I think a heli is ok. I mean they have heavy armor, apc's, many weapons. These guys are in the black market, and some of these ******** are probably Ex-military too.
