A certain type of player/smacktard

As long as I've been playing online games I've noticed the breed that love to teamkill (multiple times) before they leave the server.

Does anyone know why they do it or if there's a name for these people?

If you've ever done it yourself...why?

Edit - I don't know if this should be in P.R or off topic.

Best advice I ever got: If a smacktard teamkill you, don't make any comments, don't yell at him, don't curse, don't type anything, just let them kill you, take screenshots and inform the admins.

They -want- you to scream over the microphone shouting about how big an ******* they are, they want you to get angry, they want you to type curses, so they can sit and laugh and tell their friends and film/screenshot you.

If you don't feed them, they get bored and go elsewhere.

The only pattern I see in team killers is if it's intentional, they immediately go after another victim or teabag you. If it's not, they apologize and go on their merry way.

I simply don't say anything. First time they team kill me, no problem. Second time, better stop it buddy. Third time, that team killer is dead meat no questions.

Even if they are filming or screen shotting, all they're going to get from team killing me is lead in the face even if they're already down.

On most servers, I try to keep my cool when these things happen. Sometimes I try luring the team killer in front of the nearest admin's face.

Not in PR off course but in vBF2 on occasion and on CS: Source... oh man. I'd be lying if I said it wasn't fun in CS. Me and a buddy of mine would have a good laugh when we'd buy Para's and kill our whole team from behind. You'd be surprised, at least on CS, how many people thought it was funny. It was always nice finding people who didn't take the game seriously.

I think some people do it out of anger,at least just recently on this basrash server I played on today....I was an insurgent and I was in the mosque and he runs up to me and begins to pelt me with rocks until I die (I now know you can die from that lol) so I kicked him from the squad he made it his sole purpose on to follow my squad around as an egineer and shoot us from behind with his S12K....I think its really sad when people do it because its "fun" or because their mad, its just plain stupid

Just a theory:

They shoot friendlies because it is easier than shooting to enemies, and all they want is the_need_for_kills_feeling.

Hmmm this realy never happens on the australian servers and it never happend to me before iv watch it happen to a friend but thay never go after me. But that probubly just as well for them.

But yeah sulotion for this problem is probubly just to beat the **** out of them with base ball bats. ONE of em BASTURDs killed mi mate

used to have fun admining public counterstrike servers, used to get this clan who just used to come on the servers to disrupt them (kept changing cd key when banned) so we used to 'execclient' and change their configs to something like bind mouse1 "say CLICK!" so everytime they tried to shoot someone they just said "click!" "click!" "click!" and floodkicked themselves and bind mouse2 "dropweapon" so they would give their would-be victim their AK/Colt

Only ever done this once and it was on a server I admined but was fun.

What happened was a couple of players joined (probably friends or Myg0ts) and started trying to "rage" the server. Could have simply banned them (which is a feather in their cap if Myg0ts) but instead the entire team spent a couple of rounds just hunting them down and TKng them. Few respawns later and they got bored and left so we continued playing and had an enjoyable evening.BTW - was RO not PRM.

I don't think anyone really understands why someone would spend money on a game , money on a computer , money on an Internet connection then run around getting themselves banned form servers so they cant play the game they bought on the computer they paid for over an Internet connection they are paying for.

They are definitely lacking in interactive social skills though.
