32 layers for some maps sugestion

Post by Hfett »

Most of the maps have 64 and 16 layers, but dont have 32 ones

My sugestion is to create 32 layers focused on infantary

The maps should be the same size of the 64 layer and with the same layout, but all the armor/apc/attack air vehicles would be changed to heavy jeep's and transport hellos

Al Kufrah for example would be a nice infantary+heavy jeep's map

Also Ejod, focused on infantary (with the city limit's back on) would be nice

Even Zatar, would play nice with that layout

If you guys agree i can work on some off them after finishing my 2 maps and the community mod's audit's

Yes, yes yes!

Also can we have one map where the flags fall in single succesive order like the old fallujah. Then we wont have people going behind friendly lines and spawn killing etc

Are you talking about the .7 release? Or something that's already out?

Don't rush it, I hope you guys test all your new ideas/maps/weapons thoroughly as to not mess up the balance, or make it too realistic. I know that sounds bad, but as i'm sure you know, theres a point where realism isn't fun anymore.

It sounds good to me, more options to fine tune a server is great

Actually, there was Kufrah 32p version in .609, where did it go?

And there's also a working 32p version of Qwai River, why aren't we using it anymore?

For Ejod, I'd certainly like to see 32p, with main bases being North Desert for MEC and Gas Station for USMC, like they did in USi version of Ejod.
Maybe one or two APCs for each side, no tanks and 3-4 jeeps.

fuzz head has a fetish of taking out 32p maps cos he dont like them, thinks servers should be 64p only and 16p for clans :p

Will make sure in .7 no more 32p versions get removed as they are good for medium sized servers / medium sized clan games :)
