Hey all,
Been playing PR since we moved to hi-speed.
It's a great mod when the asshats aren't around.
Got me my first helo with the insurgent's grail the other day. That was fun.
Anyway, I have BF2 installed on my PC and laptop. I'd like my bro-in-law (from dialup country) to have a go with me. Get some family team-work operating.
Am I going to have to buy another copy of vBF2 and, if so, what's the procedure for accessing a second account when you already have it installed?
Thanks for any assistance.

Yep - you'll need a new account and a different copy of BF2.
Stupid Gamespy won't let you create more than one account per email though.
Know what - you don't even need a valid email account to set up a Gamespy account. I have an account with an email addy of "anywhereonearth.com"
Of course I'll never be able to retrieve my account info and won't be able to create an account using the specific player name (name already in use message) but WTH -
Kinda dumb isn't it? Go figure!

1) Only one cd key hash can be playing at any one time legally
2) you may create different profiles, use one at a time, but get banned whilst using one profile and all your profiles get banned due to being actually the cd hash key getting banned, not the profile!

Thanks for the info gang.
I'll go pick up a another copy of vBF2 for the laptop. But the laptop already has vBF2 AND PR on it. I want my bro-in-law to use that one while I'm on the desktop.
So, it shouldn't be an issue to register the new copy of BF2 on the laptop although it already has BF2 and PR set up on it then.
Great.
Now to set it up.
Thanks again.

He can make a new bf2 account.
You only need to get another CDkey if you want to play at the same time.

Looks like your eyes ran over it but the brain didn't register that one

Sorry guys,
I should clear that up a bit.
What I mean is my brother-in-law coming to visit FROM dial-up country and using the laptop on my broadband while I'm using the desktop at the same time.
I couldn't imagine dial-up for PR. It was bad enough with the original Day of Defeat, pinging up around 225.
Damn, I love hi-speed internet.
