Couple Of Q's :)

Hi guys im pretty new to PR and im enjoying it thus far, but i have a couple of questions i hope you guys can help me with!

First of all does any one know how i can change the resolution to 1680x1050 as thats my monitors natural res?! Second of all im sure i have installed everything correctly but in the server list around 95% of the servers are vBF2! I think i have only seen about 10 PR servers o.O

Right click on your BF and PR shortcuts then properties and add +widescreen 1 +szx 1680 +szy 1050 to the end of the target line.

As long as you use the PR shortcut you should only get PR servers showing. I use filters so only servers with players show and I normally get between 10 and 15 servers.

In the filters section check the boxes same mod only and same version only to only get PR servers.

Are you sure about that widescreen? I have +fullscreen 1 +szx 1680 +szy 1050 and it works like it's supposed to.

Thats fine, what I do too, +widescreen isn´t needed.

Both work for me, I stuck with the last one I entered which was widescreen.

1 more question though! Im getting a bit of stuttering going on like i did in vBF2, i have everything maxed out and the fps never drops below 90! Im running on an E6600 over clocked @3ghz, 2 gig G.Skill RAM, 8800GTX, Vista Home 32 bit! I know once you launch the game you can some how disable 1 of the cores in task manager, but i cant for the life of me find any options allowing me to do so! Please help

Try textures on medium.

It might also be vista related. It's almost unplayable for me on Vista, but works just fine on XP.

Might be vista related, but I am using vista, and it is running perfectly.

I have 2GB of RAM, and I had to turn textures from high to medium, and all my lags went away. Lags that i didn´t have on xp.
