camping spawnpoints

i dont like it. i dont think it rly fits into pr.
reason is, if you find an enemy rp/apc/truck/bunker/firebase...destroying it removes (in most cases) enemys feet out of an area. and its alot bout controlling and cleaning areas.
even if you (spawnkill) 20,30,40 enemys, theres always the danger of being killed while doing that, meaning the spawn will survive and you are dead.

had this situation often enough as i could kill the campers and gladly moved the rp or just defended the bunker then.

if i find an hostile and empty apc i dont even wait for a victim to spawn in ,i go for destroying thatgodamn thing asap. i think thats the right decision for the team(not my k/d).

Same here.. i wish all pr players were the same.

I never camp an RP...however i will camp a APC/Bunker/Firebase if for example i'm a medic with no help around and i need a kit to destroy the spawn asap... engineer spawns.. you kill him.. use his kit to destroy spawm.. move on.. but this is not really camping unless lots of medics spawn..

But you are right spawn camping is just cheap.

spawncamping is rarely a problem in pr. I believe it's mostly because there are very few fixed spawns. So you have to find a spawn point before you can camp it.
So I really don't see spawncamping as a problem.

But I do agree, it's a lot more usefull to destroy the spawn than to camp it.

Spawn camping is a sad thing, but easaly avoidable just spawn somewhere else!

if your RP compromised, start over. Try to avoid spawning on unmaned apcs as ther is no one to provide you cover! try to avoid spawning on a undefended Flags/bunkers.

yeah, I don't really see it as a problem most of the time. When I generally encounter spawn camping is when I'm insurgent on al basrah, there is a spawn car in vcp and has a brit spawncamping it. I just tell my squad, and we all try to spawn at the same time on the car. Sure one or 2 of us will go down, but we take down the guy, and with the numbers a lot of the time sweep out the remaining enemy there

If i find a hidden APC, and i dont have explosives, i will tell my squad where it is, and i will camp it untill someone comes with C4.

Spawn camping issues will tone down, when supply truck and APC spawns get removed, but I did had a really bad round once, where half the enemy team lone wolfed around and I got killed spawning on a firebase, because some c*nt was sitting next to it killing anyone spawning there while his team was 800m away being pwned, so one suspected idiots running around.

I do find spawn car camping quite lame, usually happens, when the British team is retarded wannabes looking for K/D...
Plus, you can destroy the car with two L85 mags...and if you are scared firing at it alone, then stop lone wolfing around

Also, when you spawn on an APC, switch to side ports and see if there's anyone camping the APC and shoot him with the side MG, before you get out

I have never seen the big deal with spawn camping.

With so many spawn options just don't spawn there.

I can actually see the problem getting worse once APC and Support Truck spawns are gone as there may well be fewer spawn points with so many lazy SL's and commanders out there.

I do0nt liek I only do it if i need a kit or if they have like 4 tickets left. But still i hate it the 1 way around it is if your RP is down ghave 2 guys keep spqawning and dieing. See if they can break it. If not have the other 3 stay with yoou from anopther Uncamped spawn and set another then go and murder the guy that was camping by flanking.

So what is the distance you want to be from your spawn point before we are allowed to shout at you 25 meters 50 meter. Is it ok to destroy the RP if we do not kill anyone doing it?

It is your job to keep your spawn points clear not ours to let you spawn. Hitch up your skirt and try to keep shooting; we know it is hard to see with all your mascara ruing in your eyes from all that crying but you can do it.

How do you know APC/CO truck spawn is getting removed?
At any rate, if you are subject to spawn rape it's your fault, because as said before there are many many places to spawn from.

In the end, dont spawn in a hot spawnzone. Its like vBF2 players complaining about being killed at the flag being fought over... how bout ya spawn one flag back? its what, an addition 20 meters? Ooooo Ouch... too far.

i feared the discussion will go about not to complain bout getting spawnkilled.
i rather prefered pointing out how stupid it is in my opinion to do the spawnkill.
me personal often spawn a 2. or 3. time after being camped if i see a chance to defend the spawn. - often the campers are ehhhm..."not so very skilled" and so it can be done.
