Turning MEC into Iranian Forces?

Seems more realistic to me, and the Iranian Army also uses H/K weaponry (licensed of course).

PR China trades with Iran, so it makes sense that they aren't fighting against them.

And from the way things look, we'll be at war with Iran sometime in the next ten years.

all we have to do is change the MEC flag to this

Generalization in this sort of game would make people from places like Iran and the politically correct think PR was all about 'Blow up the worlds bad dudes as dictated by US foreign policy; The Game'. I don't believe that it would be a good idea... No offence.

Also, China trades with everyone, on a side note.

Mec is a Coalition of Middle Eastern Nations fighting under the same banner. Aka not just Iran! It's a fictional Faction made from the real world influence of US invasion of Iraq, The story is that 8 Nations fearing an attack by the US and EU on them banded together as one group pooling all their resources to push back the tide of Western Expansion.

also, IRAN is changing the g3 with the kb 2000 or something like that .

well, technically they use a mix of the G3, HK products, the Norinco CQ (chinese version of the M16- unlicensed), and the AKM. The Khaybar 2000 is a brand new weapon (introduced in 2004)
its very similar to the FAMAS in appearance, wouldn't take much modelling at all
and they already use the EXACT same uniform that MEC has ingame.
pretty much, MEC is Iran, but it is not labeled that.

and I thought....where IS MEC? they don't exist now do they?
and are we at war with PRC China? Nope. But it fits the game. So if we have battles with China in PR, then I thought it would be MUCH more realistic to have an actual "axis" country such as Iran instead of a fictional force (the ONLY fictional thing in the game, BTW), such as MEC.

Iran fits PR better, period.
Otherwise, we might as well change China to some kind of asian coalition

Why would Iran be in Oman and other ME countries defending it from US and UK invasion? Call MEC Iran in your own mind if you like but they will remain to be called the MEC for lots of reasons. locked.
