yes, just look up army and.......anything with air power

also, nobody said it would "replace" the F/A-18 Super Hornet, it will work along side it until the F/A-22 will exceed the Super hornets cappability

You are telling me that the US Army has F-22s separately of the US Airforce? That would be the first time I have ever heard of this.

its the year of 2000 and 7, the US Army has a seperate air.......power from the airforce, thats like saying you didnt know the Marines and Navy have their own aircraft, only Air Force has air craft......no sense in that

all branches(Coast Guard included) have jets, planes, helicopters, and will have the F-35, or already have the F-22.

anyways, back to the subj.........actually, this is essentailly over, we discussed the subject, and the SU-27 wont be here ever.
but I ask 1 last question, what ground attack jet will the Russians have?

That may in fact be the most ridiculously uninformed or just plain stupid thing I have read on this forum.

The US Army has not owned/operated armed, fixed wing combat aircraft for decades, and unless the Air Force goes back to being the Army Air Corps, will in all likelihood never have them again. The only fixed-wing aircraft owned and operated by the Army are lighter transport aircraft used for personnel and some cargo.

Coast Guard? In one Coast Guard helicopter squadron, HITRON, do helicopters fly armed, and then it is only with door guns and/or a marksman with a .50 caliber rifle to immobilize or destroy smuggling craft.

As to the "what aircraft will be on Army maps?" discussion, US Air Force specific craft, like the F16 and A-10, will be on those maps for the reasons mentioned above.
