Welcome aboard. Yes, you're in the right spot. 
The AC-130 has been suggested before, and if the maps were large enough for it, it would be nice, but they're too small, even with the largest 4km x 4km map dimensions. Please use search and check the "Already Suggested" before making a new suggestion in the future, though. If you have a tech problem or bug, also use search, you may find the answer you're looking for, too.
Oh yeah, when you search, aircraft or other military equipment designations (M1A2, Mk-23, etc.) are not always large enough to use the search function, so try several terms.
