i searched and i was surprised not to find any suggestions on making it possible for any soldier to take his/her shovel and make a little cover out of any available material eg dirt or sand. It doesnt have to be very strong just enough to keep some bullets out.
This would be great for defending positions in flat terrain areas.

Already suggested - please check the "Already Suggested Things" thread in this forum, and use the SEARCH function (available at the top of your window, about an inch lower than the "MEDIA" link) before posting new suggestions.
