A half team of snipers and the other half of HAT would be even MORE dangerous!

Well either way the limits are in place for a reason that is one of the main points of this mod. To change back to a vanilla system would take away from the fact that the mod is trying to be as realistic as possible within the confines of a game. It'd be like asking Christians to stop celebrating Easter because it makes people fat. It ain't ever gonna happen...

There are already a ton of games out there that do this. Their idea of "realism" being simply prettier graphics not more improved game play.

And game play is EXACTLY what PRM players are looking for.

As others have said, this is a Reality Mod, not a Shooting Gallery Mod. Although it is impossible to fully simulate real battle in a PC game, some do come pretty close. This game is not one of them, mostly because real battle is a lot less action than what you see here. This mod is a middle-marker between realism and arcade. It's enough realism to make it fun for us military vets, but arcade enough to still be fun for those who never fired a real weapon before.

Some people don't like this mod because it is too far into realism, some don't like it because it's not realistic enough. The people responding and posting on these forums are the ones in the middle. Most like what it has so far but want more. But not too much more.

I'm still not fully understanding what you're wanting. You said you want more realistic scenery and maps, yet you want the kit limitations removed and you want the game made easier. That's like asking a car dealer to upgrade your Pinto into a Porsche, but take the engine out of the Porsche. You end up with something pretty to look at, but it doesn't work for ****.

It would be a great suggestion!

Allow SL with officer kit TK one of their squad member with a pistol, without any penalty.

I think he may be saying that some of the pysics and details of the game are not realistic thus you should be working on those factors, unfortunately they are somewhat put of the Devs control until they can access the source code.

The destructable buildings are awesome but some map flags would be uncappable if the all buildings were made that way, having said that if all buildings were destructable troop movement under the protection of armour would be more neccesary.

I do think real life maps would be cool but as someone said with out going there and taking photos this is not possible, google earth can give a overhead terrain layout but the rest would all be imagination.

I think the Devs have done an awesome job with what they have been given, I hope the PR community keeps growing and the Devs keep an open mind to trying new things in the testing phases.

I hope the community will stay flexible to changes to allow the Devs the freedom to try these new things with the knowledge that the community will support them with quality feedback and suggestions with out fear of losing players to change.
