"Arresting" Civs.
Currently, when you arrest a civilian with your knife, there is blood that squirts out.
Obviously this doesn't seem right. Anyway to take out the blood or at least change it to that brown dust thing that would happen sometimes when you stab someone in vBF2 and it doesn't kill them?
PS. I'm almost positive this has been hit on before, but it didn't come up on my search.

Now that you mention it...knifing any insurgent with a rifle should give you MORE intel than knifing a civilian since it's just that much harder to do and more likely that they would have useful intel.DarkTalon wrote:now that i think about it, knifing ANY insurgent should give you intel points.
anyone see what i mean?

To all the guys saying that knifing an Insugrent should give you intel points:
Killing them gives your team +1 point.
Knifing them gives your team +7 (same as knifing a Civ)
Killing an officer is +7
Knifing an officer is +14
Killing them gives your team +1 point.

Are you sure Masaq? The PR essentials guide says "Insurgent kits can't be looted for intelligence points anymore". That's on page 28.
I'd love some clarification on this. I stopped looting kits after the 0.61 release!!

Ah hah! My bad, was still running from the 0.6 version; the Wiki Guide (which I checked before posting) is also out of date; both state insurgent kits give Intel.epoch wrote:Are you sure Masaq? However, .613 manual shows the following:
+1 for Killing an Insurgent
+7 for Arresting a Civillian OR Insurgent (knife)
+7 for Killing an Insurgent Officer
+7 for Arresting an Insurgent Officer
-7 for Wrongful Death of a Civillian
Apologies for the misleading post - just goes to show, reading the manual really *is* helpful hehehe.
