special bridge:
- has a switch to pull it down or take up
- is a CP
- tactical needed so they can bring in vehicles
(and maybe reversed ticket bleed, to give the idea of bringin supplies(?)
i think it would be great in some jungle maps becouse most jungle parts arent accesable by vehicles

World is strange
Maybe you can't stand on a moving vehicle but you can stand on a moving static (just a theory, I don't know sh*t about python and coding)... oh well, the fact is, elevators are possible with the BF2 engine.
RANGERS LEAD THE WAY!!! Do not post stupid suggestions just because you had a bad round in PR
its possible to do, would require a new model but more importantly would need a map that it would fit in... you dont just dump any old static in any old map
biggest problem is that it would have no sounds as no one has found any way to get the sounds working out of local, or in the "xpack" mod, think EA hard coded it so only the sounds would work some how in BF2 SF.

I suspect it's got more to do with the fact that the lift goes up and down rather than sideways - so gravity lets the player drop down incrementally as the lift descends slower than the game's gravity pulls the player down, and on the way up it simply pushes the player's model upwards- slow enough that it doesn't cause impact damage.
Only a hunch, but knowing the BF2 engine it sounds like it's something they'd leave in that kinda state.
