Please dont vote if you havent played most of these in PR, as its more a question for the longtime vets.

I voted Al Basrah .4. Was an amazing map back then (Old VCP was Hawt)

Abadan was a close second.

How can you put the kirkland maps together? S@K2 was nothing like the original.

I've got great memories of Kirkland2.. horrible ones of Kirkland v1

i voted Muttrah City (v1).. but i'm sure that list is missing a few?

And Oasis isnt really retired, would you say? MEC is swapped with INS and its given a new name, but they didnt have scopes back then anyway so...
Al Falluja is the same map, even got the breakthrough-mode gameplay.

I've only been here since 0.5 but in between Muttrah v.1 and Steel Thunder, I say the latter is way better. It might be because all the crappy pilots flipped LB on the carrier and other examples of poor gamesmanship but the fact of the matter is that the MEC, to defend, needed a third of the teamwork the USMC needed to successfully land and start capping. Steel Thunder, on the other hand, got me some good tank battles and I feel it was a map that could sustain 32vs32 player battles without getting all too spammy.
This signature is here due to lack of imagination.

Oh man, I loved that gun!!! That was the coolest gun in PR. It impressed anyone who came from vBF2. I remember when we played Helix on Muttrah City (it has that gun) holy **** that was an awesome match. We rushed your first flag with the little bird and surprised the hell out of you hehe. PR was a more simple kind of fun back then.

Muttrah for 0.5 can't compare to 0.4, the changes brought along messed that map up. It would possibly been my fav as well, had i not had such a vivid memory of the new flight mechanics

What rifle was it, and why was it totally removed from the game? Why bother making it if it was unrealistic, and with the m14 on its way?
Makes a much better easter egg than that stupid m82...

I always loved Ziang Shuang Security camp, had some good firefights based across the river.
My vote's gotta go for Steel Thunder though =D

Ye, .32 of Muttrah (1) was by far the best, until v2 comes out ;)
