whine ahead thou it will need vastly improving before getting back into PR.

Steel Thunder was great for the range of terrain it offered. There were forests, small fields, river crossings, towns, hills. Everything you could ask for.

CP Abadan was a spammy sniperfest.

CP Abandan was not a bad map, but sometimes ended up in a horrible camp fest once the actual Checkpoint flag was capped by one of the parties.

Fixed that for you, bosco.
The key to modernising any weapon is covering them in glue and tossing them in a barrel of M1913 rails until they look "Modern" enough.

dam, all these old maps i forgot about!

Oasis i remember was not the greatest map ever made, but it was funny with all the mass charges into MGs, hilarious

snipers were a bit annoying tho

anyway i think its a toss between Muttrah v1 (OMFG REMAKE LOOKING EMMENSE!), and Steel Thunder, which was the first map i ever played PR on :)

wouldnt it be fun with a map where the only way for the americans to win was to rush straight onto the Chinese positions (just an example)

i meant like a flat grass field where the americans spawn at the far end and the chinese at the other end in bunkers with MGs. Perhaps a hill separating them to prevent sniping from base.
