im guessing some gameplay compromises have to be made in order to keep the maps balanced. as no one likes to be delt the short straw, and just lose because they are a certain faction. if it came down to that the winners of a round would be decided on who can teamswap(to the side at advantage) the fastest.

think the Devs have done a good job keeping the map balanced and good fun for both teams

adding an RPG kit to the base kits would be good, also a proper tank for the brits and maybe a chopper in the 64 version,

just put in more rpg pick up kits instead..... dont make them available from spawn..... just make them more accesible on the map...

They were Swedes; in terms of individual intelligence, integrity and single-mindedness I was to find them among the most impressive soldiers I had ever encountered. In Vares their moment had come."

Honestly I swapped to insurgents ( mainly because I hate heavy vehicle maps and prefer infantry without the damn GLs/RPGs - AK47 and grappling won )

Though if I hear one more Waaaah boo hooo why did they make basrah a little more real waaah why did they take away my precious jets waaah booo....

I'm sickened.... maybe you should go beat on some infant children that will make you feel better, or chop off a fetuses head and drink the blood...

Give uk a tank and artillery to reflect the overwhelming power they'd have

0.6 is the better map but the gameplay could use more tuning, most games are a uk win and no one likes a predictable outcome

Thats in the commanders judgement, kick him if it results in civ deaths I guess but insurgents should not be holding areas of the map for want of firepower imo

correct me but, the brits would have artillery, so your saying that your British HCO's would send howitzers to a heavily populated city?

I left out the civi argument, but without it, my argument is still strong because you would never use artillery on a heavily populated area.

Precision guided bombs from an A-10 i can understand, but not arty.

It was awful and the most unrealistic times you could have on Project reality in its history. It was Lag heavy and had a poor view distance.

I actually get much worse lag these days on Al-Basrah. It's almost unplayable, and I have a better GFX card than I did for 0.5.

thats odd... i get very good fps in basrah (45+). the most system taxing map is OGT or quai because of all the grass. (only 20-35 fps)

my specs are: pentium4 3Ghz --- 2gigs ram --- nvidia 8600
