Welcome to the forums, Boat. The M113 has been suggested before. No problem, though. In the future, just use search before making a new thread to make sure your idea or question hasn't already been posted. I'll be locking the thread for a resuggestion. 
The M113 family is still in service, but the plain "battle-taxi" APC version is mainly used by combat engineers, from what i understand. The mortar and ATGM carrier variants are found in the "heavy" infantry and armored cavalry units.
An M113 variant is not likely to make it into PR, though, unless someone has made an MTVL for the Canadian Forces community produced expansion.
