Send the Devs a Pizza?

Post by Darksyde024 »

I use to play this little game called world war II online..

It has a pretty tight community. we use to send the development team pizzas to get updates and patches sooner.

Does such bribery work here?

If not Pizza, what about beer and hookers?

hmmm?

Hey, just don't let them know about this:
http://www.splashdamage.com/?page_id=15

Would it not be as radical as hell if our guys landed a job with splash damage and built a serious reality war game with all the bells and whistles (Fast Roooo..no I'm not gonna say those two words together...err I mean, swift Air Vehicle descending...heh) via the Doom3 engine?

Thing is, they must insist upon taking all members of the Dev crew, as well as us players as proper game testers!

Quote from ArmA forums says it all.
"Arma 2 has a very lucky dev team, who have a very patient community, who will always stay loyal in the faith that one day arma 2 will be complete.
Flashpoint has a weeks worth of out the box gameplay, after that it's boring. "

They wouldn't even let me get out of a taxi on Pennsylvania ave. even though I had an appointment for a tour of the white house, so I would agree. And then the SS (not the nazis) would have a free pizza, the wankers.

But I would totally send the devs some hookers. My sister isn't married yet...

Dominos.co.uk will do delivery to my house from the store about half a mile away, I also have a £5 off voucher when you spend £15 or more with them that I'll give the code of to to anyone who sends me pizza.

I can't speed up the development cycle but I can moderate faster with pizza inside me! :p
