You got the flags, You win.

Post by Oldirti »

On a couple maps (namely seven gates because it's the only one i can remember) the opposing will take all the flags and then everyone will have to wait. I don't see why the whole squad should have to wait for a couple of idiots are just running around not doing anything.

Anyway suggestion:

Unless your team has a flag going down, then if the opposing team gets all the flags then it's an automatic loss.

Well what about if a squad has a RP in a good location and manages to defend and even recap a flag.

Though I do think its a bit harsh to lose your main and good game...

If you are down to your main as your only cap group and you leave no defenses/get overwhelmed... and lose it for any period of time, you deserve to lose

On most occasions its a waste of time to wait for people to die, or last attempts, rarely will the base be reccapped

But ending when main is capped is a good incentive to protect the base..

Well occasionally if your main base goes white, and your team has a rally ( NOT YOUR RALLY ) you can spawn on it, and it re-directs you to main base... your team also has to have a flag in the next cap group

I.E. USMC owns all but estate, your main is white, and you own estate as PLA and a different squad has a rally, you can spawn on it to spawn on your main...

when the mainbase has been captured (not neutralized) a VERY FAST ticket bleed will begin, so at most youll be waiting for 30 seconds or so for the tickets to bleed out.

waiting around for the last couple snipers is always a pita

I could manage speeding the map up by giving away the location of the 2:12 k/d ratio sniper in the woods.

My dream of a fast and proud fall is mass-suicide. :p If that could be considered as surrendereing -- only the main remains -- the mod can make a small step towards RL. I'd certainly consider it as an option if being implemented.

Not really.
Recently on Zatar, we (US) managed a cap-out on MEC team. We were able to do a cricle around the MEC main 2 times and then drive back to main in tank before they beed out. Hell, we were even waiting 5 more minutes on our main then.
