Yeah. The ridges seem like they could create some very sweet mech inf + armor vs. mech inf + armor battles over long distance. Will be sweet. Other thing I like is that because of flags in order to cap a flag you really need to secure the area, not just the flagpole because otherwise the armor is gonna HEAT your *** to death as the flags arent particuarly defendable locations themselves, but the outlying regions are.

the river is flowing into the lake, not out, there are many lakes like this in the world that only have lakes flowing in and no rivers flowing out and also seen plenty of lakes with loads of water flowing out of them but looking rather small and nothing flowing into them.
EDIT: AA is on, just not on full, these are just my normal play settings and as the Map is swill WIP, no point straining my pc, when its final i will shove my GFX upto full

the Coal Mine has been evacuated with the British advance, thou ye have thought about doing a fence around the perimiter top but that would stop tanks moving upto the edge, and would be a barrier for AT rockets / tank shells, aswell as the main problem as they do not join at all well unless they are done on the grid as the top wire just overlaps, docent meet and looks crappy etc

you'll get use to the lake, and no, you cant climb the pylonsJonny wrote:So there are, just looked on wikipedia.
I would still prefer a few more rivers, or at least riverbeds, leading into/away from the main lake. It just doesn't look right to me, there are large areas of land with no obvious drainage channels.
The pylons look really good, BTW, can you climb them if you get to the ladder which should be 3-4 metres off the ground? Just to look around.
