Night Vision,quick thought...
Just to resolve the issue that Insurgents/Militia wouldn't get night vision, while conventional forces would PWN them.
Couldn't Insurgents/Militia get the crappy/old night vision.like in black hawk down, where it has the octagon/hexagon shape like things in it?OR,they could use the same night vision, because it's really not too hard at all to buy, especially over the net.,so I think they'd have their sources...
While conventional armies would use the std. nightvision that is in use in Bi Ming ya know.
Just a quick thought for you gies to consider...

You can buy pvs-14's on ebay.

I don't think it would be a problem for them to get them so long as they had the money.

of course you can buy them. But think of the price, for 1 nvg you can probably get around 5 ak-47s. So most likely all the available money is going to weapons. Insurgents can choose where and when they fight so they really don't need to be prepared for every possible situation.LeggyStarlitz wrote:You can buy pvs-14's on ebay.

But it's still possible to get them!
This is like assuming the MEC has tons of money,we'll assume Insurgents have a "special" Warlord,or Arms Supplier...Speaking of that, are there any plans to rename the Insurgent/Militia commander position Warlord?
How does the MEC even exist, when most countries in the middle east are wester world coalition allies, does the MEC include Iran...and what?Syria? All the other middle eastern countries I looked at on the map are western world coalition allies.

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD! YOU DO NOT GET BLIND IF SOMEONE FLASHES A FLASHLIGHT INTO YOUR NVG'S NOR IF SOMEONE USES BATTLEFIELD ILLUMINATION DEVICES!Papst wrote:how about giving them flares which illuminate the night
(and making everybody blind who uses a nightvision and looks into it)
It is not like the movies, the worst thing that might happen is that the NVG's break down.
However, I like the idea of flares and illumination weapons, but I guess that it might be hard with the dynamic lighting?

They were Swedes; in terms of individual intelligence, integrity and single-mindedness I was to find them among the most impressive soldiers I had ever encountered. In Vares their moment had come."

I really, really fail to see how,Insurgents having crappy old soviet Night Vision is un-realistic.It's so easy to get on the market. And they're Warlord Weapons supplier could get the stuff for even cheaper.(Bribery,killing,robbing,etc.)
I'm just saying,"If" any night maps were made with Ins.But GO Ahead an leave,I kinda, just kinda don't care...I'll keep playing!

wat's it like using old soviet nightvision. i mean i already hate using the usmc nightvision...using older nightvision would make it more unpleasant -_-
plus.therse a diff between possible and realistic. Im sure you can go buy some, but do insurgents really buy them? i havent seen any with them.
