I was walking through the jungles of china, I had full combat webbing on and a heavy rifle in my hands. The terrain is hard and rough and there are craters from artillery strikes everywhere.
I need to get somewhere fast so I hold my rifle tight and sprint as fast as I can through the jungle bobbing and weaving through the bamboo.
As I do a sniper hidding in perfect cover catches my eye and I knife him...

Like hell :P

see what im saying here. the rifle wibbles a bit but there's no real view shake as you run, Would think this should be included as I've seen it coded in "other" (blergh) mods :D

Adding this effect would be great for those twonks that want to sprint their way into a fortified location, they wont see the defences and bang theyre shot while sprinting :P
Whereas right now they sprint, spot the defence drop down and shoot.
It would just in general encourage players to tread carefully.
I know we have bullet deviation so call this view deviation :D the two should go hand in hand for 0.7 methinks

I agree. Although such small things, I really think that adding an FH2 style movement while running, and the gun movement while strafing would add alot to the atmosphere. It feels a bit like you are a robot now. :)

I do think its still too soft in FH2 however, needs more of a jagged "jogging" feel. Ain't hard, though you look stupid, to test such things by just running through the woods with heavy wieght :P
In FH2 its more of a sway as you sprint. I'm thinkin a hard jaggedy bounce to simulate your boots pounding, hopping over things etc, but still to balance for when youd be sprinting full whack on tarmac for example.
Just summin to stop people being able to spot distant and camoflauged enemies while running as fast as they can

Most old style FPS games like quake allow you to turn off the view bob, and most people do turn it off, because it's annoying. The novelty of view bob will probably wear off, but will your headaches and motion sickness? lol

I agree completely, that was my favourite thing about the mod. The 1st person running animation. Really well done.

Yeah, you are right, we should have a shaky movement when moving....

My favorite thing :P god that feels so sexy when it takes off.

I think another thing that can be learned from FH2 is their fix for the sandbag graphics problem and the sinking mines + detector and flags
