sandbag and such...

dont you find it stupid that you cant rest your M249 on a window and let loose? Well, before you yell "BF2 ENGINE!!" listen up, i think i have a solution.

Why dont you make every window and sandbag an "invisible vehicle" and when you enter it, it would have the same properties as riding in a car as a passenger, you can shoot your weapon from it. And when you are in this "vehicle position", you have greatly increased accuracy to simulate resting your gun.

What do you guys think?

Sort of like the static MGs except you can use your own weapon... interesting...

Why Clypp? It would basically be putting a very very small vehicle on every window. Time consuming but possible. Coders? Aren't a ton of windows in PR anyways

Worst thing I can think of is that when you're killed you cant be revived

^^ i hate being revived anyways because u still have to wait for the medic to heal you up and risk getting killed again. personally, id rather just die so i can go get some food or a drink while i wait.

but awesome idea. itd be a time consuming job, but worth it.

sounds good, only problem i see is theres going to be alot of vehicle entities, and that might not go to easy on some peoples computers, even if there arn't any models.

This sounds lame. Sorry. Not only would it take a lot of work to do, but it would look funny. Also people could spam the enter vehicle key to hop in and out of the position making it hard to kill the, and if they did get killed they would stand there looking funny, and be unrevivable. Plus then people would say, how come I can place my gun down on a window for accuracy, but not on every other surface at the right height, of which there are many in the game.

if you want you can make the "vehicle" only enterable by the support class to simulate bipods. You dont have to let everyclass able to do it.

Thats not impossible to do, just like how only pilots can use planes, only supports can "use" windows.

Anybody can enter a jet however. Frankly, it would look stupid if a rifleman enters a "window" and dies because he doesn't use a bipod.

Lmao.

What about the support gun having a tripod that can be deployed on anything of the right hieght? I know you can have tripods that pop out when youre on the ground.

I can see it now. Rifle carriers can hug the wall next to the window and when you press the crouch key, they can put their back to the wall. The support class can be positioned at the center of the window with the bipod down just like the mounted LMG on the sandbags.

However, I see a problem with putting in different motions for the different kits for one spot unless the plan is to specify everything for each window in each building.

well the idea is really great there are just some problems that would have to be overcome if it was to be in pr. also bludshot people can already pop up and down so how would this change anything?

I like it but as the people above me are saying it could be easy exploitable.
And restricting it to one kit would'nt be a good idea either.
I think it would be awesome if we could crouch and the deviation would take half the time to settle.

yeah wont work though...limitation on the number of vehicle type objects in the world would be the first thing that comes to mind..

each structure would need a secondary vehicle structure to attach to it..

exponentially increasing objects and lag in the game world..

good idea thouhg
