Probably a repost, Lock-age if appropriate.
Please oh please, can you do something about the "Grenade!" and "Throwing Smoke!" voices. So many times have I been happily doing something with my squad when we hear the familiar sound of "Grenade!" in the oposing teams language. Needless to say we get up and run like hell or hunt him down as we heard where it came from.
Similarly, when you're on your own trapped behind enemy lines maybe as SL. There's a bunch of enemies about to come round and find you, you need to frag them as you can't take them all on with your rifle you'll attempt to throw one. Woops. There's that sound again and I'm promptly rushed and teabagged - vigorously.
If there's no way to have two different modes AKA "stealth" and "live fire" or something similiar I would love to see these removed.
Yes it can be useful in a live fire environment knowing that smoke or grenades are being tossed, but not when you're trying to be sneaky...

Annoying Voices.

To be honest you should be telling your squad you are throwing a nade anyway, the warnings are, as you said just pointless and annoying, agree.

I think you should have a button to press for such warnings. so you can just roll a nade quietly into a position and also so that you can shout to your squadmates about impending death.
Problem is kits have too many nades when combined with the respawn factor, silent nades would just make it a fest... of nades.
Maybe with a reduction of nades in kits?

i think the same about some of the sounds while using fags, smoke nades or ammo bags...
So the best idea would be to leave it as it is unless you press some button before actually hitting you mouse to throw them, that would remove the warning sound.
This way you would have the warning sound most of the times since you don't really need to do anything for it to be played and whenever you need to stay quiet you would have to click some key to use the alternative stealth use of the same equipment.
Let's hope the dev team can spar some time on this.

If only there was a way to code right click to say nothing and be a "full throw" like left click or remove the voices all together ... honestly in VOIP squads when we are nading an area, its either SL saying "Smoke X area" and we smoke it or "Nades out to X area" and we nade it and then cease nades and move in..

I agree with Sadist. For example: You find yourself outside an enemy position and you need to clear the room. Instead of your character chucking the grenade with all his might he might just pull the pin and roll it, say 10 ft. or so. That way the enemy inside will not be alerted of their death before it happens. What game has this feature, I know I've played it... Oh! Americas Army.

yea I was thinking maybe the right click toss could be the silent toss button. It can still function the same as it is now but the ingame voice would be cut out. I also think the left click toss should keep the voice because using VOIP for such events could lead to the already cluttered and disorganized Voip system. Radio discipline would go straight out the window if you take all in game voices away.
