Yes it was sold to the Dutch people as build up mission but those anoying Taliban wouldn't leave them alone. So it has become more of a fighting mission than a build up mission. They are in Uruzgan wich is also
"traditional" Taliban country. (Pretty close to Helmand)
We were forced by our Nato allies to stay longer over there to 2010 because none of them would take over the mission. Although they were to stay only untill 2008.

Yeah the Dutch and British seem to be doing most of the Nato fighting for Europe, whilst Germany and France sit on their arses in the north of the country, doing very little. I think the Dutch would be a better addition over Italy, but i can't see wither happening for a while

if u want Italy in PR, go and grab some moddelers and skinners, head down to the community section, and do it urself

the Canadians, Russians and the Isralis are already community WIP factions

Personally, I think there is enough factions in the mod. We could add the italian military, we could add the swedish military, we could add the german military, we could add the french military, we could add the spanish military, we could add the norweigan military, we could add the danish military, we could add the finnish military, we could add the greece military........................

................................
................................

A majority of the PR- players (and community members) are from Europe (mostly Western Europe) and North America, and therfore we could have an endless parade of western militarys accompaning the US and UK- side in the mod, but still only a few on the opposite side because everybody is busy working on a faction to "represent" their nations military. PR shouldn't be a mod where random factions is added so a few guys can feel patriotic, because that's what all this is about.

I have only one request: you guys know how sometimes snipers in the game will laugh when they make a far shot right? Well, when shooting the Italian Heavy-AT, if you hit your target, I think he should say "THATSA SPICEE MEATBALL-AH!"

and the Italian military is actually in Iraq..i think all militaries who are in the middle east should have a map
that way itd be fair to everybody instead of just a bunch of UK maps

with troop numbers of 1,800 (source)

but according to that realistically we should add Germany and Netherlands first, and its ALOT of effort to add a faction in, when people would rather the DEVS define the already added factions

"no add this 1"
"why add this 1 add this 1"
"u added this 1 why not this 1"

if they started adding more, they will still displease people, so just keep it the same. unless a community factions dose it.
