Great...

Infantry squad sneaking around the lines.. make a ambush..

I like this map so bad..

updated post #1 with the following info and high rez screenshots:

Briefing:
With constant skirmishing across the Chinese front lines, British forces decide to strike a deadly blow into the Qinling mountain region. Both sides have established air bases in the foothills of the mountains, and are preparing to launch a large scale combined arms offensive through this once tranquil region.

A Small USMC mechanized unit has been attached along side the British Forces as part of a joint coalition operation. The area has a large coal deposit, crucial to the Chinese war effort in this region. The stakes are high in this large scale operation, and neither side can afford to lose.

you dont know how long I've spent making it :p

gone though loads of diffrent versions, give you some idea this is what the first version looked like :p

Are the sand bunkers destroyable?

I love this map..

Is it as big as Kashan or way smaller?

its the same size as kashan, 1024x4, and sand bunkers? take it you mean the hesco barriers?

well the nice thing about woods is AAVs love to hide in them. You can hide a AAV in the trees soo easily and just lock onto and shoot anything that flys over, and they are never going to see you if you place yourself correctly :D

but i think it would be nice if replaced the apache with another merlin instead of a apache coz i dont think a apache fits on this map, but thats just me

Edit: or maybe 2 merlins and 1 apache
Map should be abit concentrated on transport :wink:

the apache will love this map! with all the valleys, trees etc it can easily pop up from behind a hill, fire, and go back down behind the tree line like its meant to in r/l :D

2 merlins is really out of the question, main thing you need to remember is that there is unforintly only 32 players max on each team, so the weapons i have kitted out for each side reflect that player count, putting anouther merlin on would mean that you would use up 1 more player flying around, and as there are 2 merlins no one is going to be transporting any one as 1 merlin is more than enough for transport when already have the guys are in tanks, in APCs etc ;)

it dose say "Final" in the title ;)

would have to take some really big bug to stop it being released now :twisted:

and ye, the map has over 30,000 trees in it, was over 40,000 at one point :p
