Just an idea ... why the dead soldiers can always talk with the VOIP ? is it realist ? I think, but I don't know if it is possible, that it will be great if when you are dead you cannot talk with your VOIP with your squad/commander ! I know you can always talk in the Chat but it takes more time ...
It will give more possibilities to infiltrate ennemi's lines without warning all the soldiers ...
What do you think ?
I think this should stay, like when your a insurgent with a RPG attacking the VCP, and you die, you want your fellow insurgents to pick up that RPG and keep those yellow teeth brits praying under their bunk bed!
That's what I was thinking ... but aren't you hardcore coders too ?
Just a revelation to me by viewing the movie "Shooter" yesterday and the way that sniper infiltrate the house ...
Pointless. Lots of people use teamspeak or some other program, this would only give the organized players a huge advantage.
"Computer games don't affect kids, I mean if Pac Man affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching pills and listening to repetitive music."
you need to be able to talk the whole time for teamwork. it could get annoying as hell trying to get your squad the way you want it if dead players couldnt respond at all.
all we need is a fade to black so you cant spot for your squad while lying dead on the ground.
Black screen yes; mute no, exactly my oppinion. Like already said, teamspeak-users would own any other player if people would be muted, and the black screen would a) make people fear dying even a more and b) indeed its unrealistic to spot as dead guy.
At least if we can't get a black screen, change the 'killed' can to 'critically wounded' one. It's really annoying, when you headshot a guy or kill him on ladder/vehicle, go past and he analyzes your entire squad.
