Safe aircraft spawn.

This may have been posted before but I didn't found anything searching so...
Is there a way to put automatic SAM launchers surrounding the Head Quarters Airfields (Non-Capturable) to prevent enemy players from harnessing the aircrafts before they can even take off?
The reason for me to ask this is because many times after the first air combats the enemy keeps bombing the airfield incessantly and there are no players to keep the air defence in fuction (which by the way is just an Igla pod).
Can't we have an S-400 or something like this to destroy aircraft which stay to much over the base's airspace?

Airbases will have a lot more (and efficient) defenses in 0.7. ;)

Player manned though.. not possible to have automatic ones.

I guess AI would lag and is there no way to code something to act and think on it's own in BF2?

Baserape is real...Deal with it,but some SAM turrets for extra security would be nice.

Basically from what rumors I have heard, AA is devastatingly more effective, so keeping a guy on your main with a lockable AA turret sounds like it would *deter* jets...

ZOMG TESTER SECRETS...

I was told jets have to stay above cloud cover or they are screwed ;)

Though I'm still on the lookout for what this anti-baserape mechanism that is being made is.... something to prevent baserape has been done ... rumors... must get .7 juicyness... must get new computer so OS isn't corrupt ( Can't download PR or any file over 100mb for that matter, waiting on fedex for new comp :( )

Fuzzhead and DB always bring good holiday news for PR...

I'm certain .7 will change the game as much as limited kits changed PR in the past

Is it just AA is all AI manned stuff not possible? Is it a lag issue or has it got something to do with bots having to take up player spaces?

Missiles need to track better. Period. Missiles need to be something jets and chopper are afraid of, the way they are now you can just say, oh, missile, CMs...hell, you can dodge them without using the flares if you know how to make the plane move.

I fired a missile at a non-moving chopper from 200m, and it missed. I don't know how hard it is to code them, but if they were made better air defences would be much more efficient.
