Ar15 assault rife

Before you start flaming.

Please ar15 with an eotech holo sight please!

I really want this gun as an extra unlock type weapon for the specops or assualt. So the normal one can be used as open maps and the ar15 could be used as an open unlock for close quarter combat maps. Please devs this would make my day or life!

1. Not realistic in a PR sense.

2. M16 = AR15

3. If you want an M16 with 7.62 rounds then you'll just have to wait for the US army faction and their M16 marksmen.

M4=AR-15 you mean.

And for the M-16 Marksman variant,how about this.

All I know is that the airsoft model is called the GR-25

What I got from that was that he wants the normal, either irons or ACOG, version of the M16 freely available, while the EOTech holosight would be available for those who want a wider field of view for close up engagement.

I don't know where you guys got marksman or 7.62 versions from.

Personally I like the idea of the Holosight, but overall I couldn't care less whether it is actually implemented or not. It might be nice to have it as a replacement for the irons, but I don't know that it is even possible to make unlockables work outside of standard BF2. Knowing all the problems that come with the engine, it seems likely this would be another one.

EoTech sights would look really cool. But I don't mind if we don't have them. On the other hand...

I mean just look at the hl2 mods such as smod tactical, cod4, and just all these games and mods with the holo sights they are just really amazing. The normal cylilendar shaped scope is getting extremely boring and can't be used for cc engagment's.

Yea, lets make more workload for the devs, increase file size, detract from reality And contribute noting to game play. :thumbsup:

Umm thats basically not true. Just take the new m4 and ad a eotech sight.
