Hello friends, i have a loong time whitout post but.. letes go tpo the point

As the Insurgents have the Mosing Nagant, the rifle of the WW2, still used today by Rebels, the Mauser K98, i also used too.

Mauser K98 was madded on Nazi Germany, on 1935, and the world still using it, for military acts, and Serbian Snipers used it on Sarajevo

Well, on the Invasion of Irak, the Mauser K98 was used by the insurgent forces..

i don't see any difference between the mosin and the k98 myself, I don't think that gameplay would change at all as the k98 is also a bolt action rifle that just looks slightly different (from a superfical point of view

well, perhaps if it would not have a scope, but just be a bolt rifle, for example for the RPG soldier ?

Why use a Bolt-action rilfe when you can get a AK-47 cheap on the black market? CAN SOME ONE PLEASE EXPLAIN THIS TO ME!

because they are used, the have more stopping power, are much more accurate?
if you woulf give me the choice between a M4 a M16 and a M14, be sure i would take the m14 even if it has no auto (as the modern m14 do) and no scope, just because its more accurate and has more stopping power. the fullauto isn't used that much, that not having it would be such a problem.
y shoot 2 times, if you could kill with one shot ?

Still most modern insrgent or rebal groups dont aim, they spray so why would they use a bolt-action rilfe?

they're not going to pick a k98 if they get to choose between that and an ak47. I would also like to see some hard facts that milita uses the kar 98. Im just not buying it.

Guerrilla warfare is much more than spraying like n00bs. RL, rebels and south-american/balkans militias are way deadlier than the insurgent omfgpwnzorzs players in PR.

Interesting weapon for the militia. Tho the mosin already does its job ... Yeah the mosin in fact could be revamped as it has a very weak stopping power actually.

Yeah that's stupid, rebel groups are usually very resourceful so why would they waste ammo like that? Dunno where all that spraying stuff came from, probably Hollywood to be honest, but it's ridiculous.

Don't see why the Mauser shouldn't be in game if people want to model, skin and code it though, the more old weapons lying about to use for the insurgents ad militia the better.

If someone puts it ingame I'm sure the DEVs will consider it. But realistically, most of the balkan/south american militias are made up of retired soldiers. They're really just like 2nd tier troops, not true militias. They are good in comparison to other militias, but compared to frontline troops of any modern nation they are significantly less competent. Of course they have the advantage of living where they fight, which always helps.

the Mosin Rocks.. i dont mean.. "We need fresh weapons, replace the mosin ofr the K98", it will be cool if on basrah for example, will be 2 bolt action rifles.. K98 and the Mosin

But the K98 was modificated

, or maybe, using the K98 as a spawnable gun, like the AK47, but less accuracy, just a little

Why a british gun or german gun. Most groups use russian due to the cost.

man are you kidding me? have you ever seen any insurgent videos? it usually goes something like this: insurgent with rpg pops out of hiding, fires off rpg, then usually another insurgent with a PKM pops out and completely UNLOADS the thing in some general direction, then more insurgents with AKS pop out and hold the gun in a really un professional manner and just spray it and pray to allah that it hits someone. its not hollywood stuff man, they really are horrible shots.
