I like this idea. I also think that the special forces have been sort of neglected in PR (I know theres a kit but the type of map). I also dont see much point of a whole new faction, at least not when the map is first being made, for the first version (if there is one) you could just use the skins that are ingame now (ex:heavy soldier with specops or engineer hat, or even the navy seals helmets from vBF2:SF if it where possible,that sort of stuff). Now after the map was deemed a sucess, then I could see some one setting out to make the proper skins for the "SF" faction (ex: beards, those little spec-ops hats lol, rags on their faces like the insurgents, the green berrets do this in afghanistan so im preety sure its realistic)
All in all I think this would make a very nice addition to PR if it was to be used

yea. I think I'll put this idea back down the "idea box" and leave it there for a while, realisticly I think we have enough to do around here at the moment.

HangMan: BF2 Editor, it has very strict limitations memory wise, and crashes all the time. Its like a girl. Treat it with respect and take it slow and you'll get places. Rush and get ahead of yourself and it will turn around and punch you in the mouth

I like the idea very much! ;)

You could handle the problem with the night and the insurgents that can't see shit in the dark by making the night a bit 'brighter' with more moonlight (full moon) or just like mentioned with light sources in the village. If it'd be too bright so the insurgents could handle the NVGs of the coalition forces without any problem you could also add some fog or something (moonshine and fog makes a real GREAT looking). So this is not a real problem.

I like the idea too.....a little more stealthyness........now imagine an AK fight in da dark....*droll*

Yes but what about not only special forces but regular army, coz also the regular infantry goes for weapon seraching at nights.
So this map could be an Us vs Insurgent version of BI Ming.
I like the idea of this map.
Maybe if it is possible to implement the flashlights for searching inside houses.
