Fixing the speed gauge seems rather trivial in comparision to everything else. Amazing what you guys have done here, I might have to pickup a stick and learn to fly something besides the AH's.
The climbing acceleration sounds interesting, I think a plane can climb at a high rate...but to ACCELLERATE while climbing is a different thing. I'm no fly boy though but limiting all the circus flying sounds good to me even if it becomes a little less realistic in one area or two. Two bad we can't get G-force blackouts

a black blurry effect if you sustain a turn for 10-15 seconds ?

Smeg: Fuzz commands a lot and promotes good teamwork, db flips vehicles, Bosco is an all-round nub, Outlawz is an SP whore, Nickbond is a friggin ninja and Rhino gets kicked for being a n00b.

hmm would it be possible to some how use the over heat code to do this, make it so if you are pressing a button it turnes the plane and also fires a cannon with a invisible projectile with a live time of 0 and when it over heats you replace the over heat effect with a effect that would make the screen fade away.

I cba reading all the posts but I assume that by accelerate vertically he doesn't mean just being able to climb vertically. Accelerating means you aren't moving at a constant speed or slowing down, but speeding up...
