v0.7 Infomation regarding Bi Ming, Please Read!

Post by Rhino »

In v0.6 as you all know, Bi Ming (the Brit vs PLA Night map) had some CTD problems where if you loaded the map up for the first time the player got a CTD so server admins stopped putting the map on there server and players stopped playing it.

In v0.7 we have FIXED this problem, you will no longer CTD so please, server admins put this map on rotation as it is the most underplayed map in v0.6 and will bring in alot of new gameplay! :D

NVG etc has been tweaked aswell as many other things so it is much changed, so really would be nice to see it on the map rotation again.

Thanks!

Quote from ArmA forums says it all.
"Arma 2 has a very lucky dev team, who have a very patient community, who will always stay loyal in the faith that one day arma 2 will be complete.
Flashpoint has a weeks worth of out the box gameplay, after that it's boring. "

I've played this map only 3 times. And each time it was getting better and better :-) .

Fist time I thought it sucks as hell. Second time I had some fun there. And the third time, I had a beautiful round there !

I hope this won't change and my upcoming experiences will be even better.

I remember the 0.6 open beta. Almost full 64 player server running Basrah ending the round. Next map Bi ming and around 50 people disconnected the remaining ones started to ***** about how lame this map was  One of moments in PR I'll never forget :D

Definitely one to stay on my mapcycle. A truly brilliant map, even if you do have to spend the first 10 minutes repeatedly typing "press 7"

I had that on Qinling: getting really bad fps drops while you're coming to terms with the changes to how helicopters handle is...painful.

The only thing I hated about it was it was so dark that unless you had a auto switch on your key board that when the enemy came after you the NVG was ussless becuase by the time you got it on you were dead. IE spawn camping was a major problem. I hope that was fixed. I also hope they added in vehicles, and some more cool stuff too it because as an infantry map it was kinda lame.

bring back the funcky music !
"You know we've had to imagine the war here, and we have imagined that it was being fought by aging men like ourselves. We had forgotten that wars were fought by babies.
