Requesting more US/UK links!

Ok we all know PR is great and yes it's finaly out. But why in the hell is there only 1 US link, 1 Torrent link, and 5 German links, as well as not a single UK link in the whole list!?

I mean I have never even heard of Durnet till now and it won't even load it's so over loaded right now. Why no FilePlanet link, or Filefront like always? this is nuts did the PR devs get suckered into placeing it at some unknown site for them to get PR by hosting the mod PR?

That's why there's a torrent. Which has 38 servers seeding it right now. I really don't appreciate your accusations (which by the way are completely farfetched) and frankly after all our hard work, we thought you could put up with a slightly stunted download speed, "Oh god a German server, that must be more than 1000 kilometers away! I couldn't download from there"

No it's not DL speed. I just don't wan't to DL from a known domain that has lots of hackers/file theifs on it. IE Germany is one of those domians. It's not that I hate them, it's that it's the turth. It was up on slash dot for many weeks back in 2000, that German sites are the number one haven for hackers and theifs for credit cards/what not. it's not my fault it's that way. I would just rather be safe than take the risk.

I won't use a Torrent for the same reason. Better safe then sorry. I will however use fileplanets DL software, or filefronts DL links because they give me a muilti link to the file most of the time.

Until there are a sufficient amount of seeds or you are getting seeded by multiple people, download speeds will be slow, but they will increase exponentially.

Well you won't be so happy when you DL off a German site like Drrrr193.net and then get rute kited like everybody else who Dls from anywhere they can.

Plus anybody on Turrent can not just DL the file you are, but access your hard drive, and even change the file name/file link it's slef while your DLing it. It's not a safe program, It's like what happens in the latest Futurama movie on DVD. You click to DL it, you get what you wan't but then your PC runs so slow, or is so screwed up it's not even funny.

Thats what all those posts about people who claim the game dose not work when running it through a window on the desk top are whineing about in realitiy. They don't care that it's not made to run that way, but they make such a huge stink about it that the devs knuckle under and make it work for them to get them to stop spamming E-mail/forum posts about it.

Also when it's finaly fixed they then open up 2 other files and trun them on so they can use their uber hacks and make them selfs gameing gods. IE thats when I leave a game. The did it with BF1942 and that game was hacked the moment EA released the patch that fixed it so you could run it in a window, same with BF:V. But in BF2 they did not even let you run it that way, the same goes for BF2142. Thats why there is so little hacking online in these games, and if there is it's vary easy to spot it from a distance.

You all need to learn how unsafe the net realy is before you give your credit card, or bank account numbers off to some random E-mail thinking you will get all knids of free stuff when all you do get is a hacked file that steals all your personal info, or worse your PC gets the skulls of death.

I can't believe how many topics there are right now moaning about the download sites/speeds.
All of you should be thankful the devs have put a hell of a lot of time into making this without getting paid and then finding others to host it on their websites using up their bandwidth that they pay for just so that you ungrateful ******** can then download it for free.
Also whats the problem with downloading it from a German site? Is it that hard to figure out what you click to download the file? I don't know any German at all and I managed, it really isn't that hard.

People just have patience! I really want to play this too but you don't hear me bitching about the download speeds or corrupt files or torrents. Just wait! In due time, you'll get what you want.
