Here is the chance would be a neat effect to add ingame.

How about add a little shock vision/blur vision and lose some health to the players when they are hit by a apc cannon when their inside their vehicle!

I'm pretty sure that 25-30mm APC rounds pretty much bounce of the Chobham armor on the Abrams and the Challenger II, so it may not be really applicable to the tanks.

That might be true but the apc's would have taken damage from those 30mm aswell as the cars. I think it would be a nice add for the extra realism in pr!

I sure hope not. Props to the TC for finding those videos. Those are really cool, getting bookmarked right away.

well the main problem i see is all the cool effects are seen from inside of the tank, but in PR or bf2 you don't even see the inside of the tank..

i will like to see the bounce of the shells , for example in FH2 , if you shot the cannon of the panzerII (its like a APC cannon) againt a sherman , the bullets will go al around , bouncing here and there , if you are unlucky enoguh, you can be killed by one of those :p

It starts a small fire on the tank, so it actually passed through the armour? What tank is that

Its probably didnt puncture the armour (though I may be wrong here...)
One of the ways to "destroy" a tank isnt to just punch a huge hole in it with a Sabot. HEAT rounds for instance are detonated outside the tank. It's the shock from the impact of the explosion/projectile that causes scabs or flakes of armour inside the tank to crack off and ricochet around inside like hundreds of razor sharp lil bullets.
these lil blades and splinters of armour can cause some pretty nasty injuries to the chaps inside.

How about having it so that SABOT rounds will cause damage to the tank while HEAT rounds can cause more harm to the crew, possibly triggering bleeding, this would probably encourage some sort of medevac vehicle too and thatd be cool ;) Both rounds should pretty badly concuss the driver and or gunner (hull hits: driver, turret hits: gunner)

Some very good ideas there. Especially the injuring of those inside the vehicle, and the concusion effects on those inside. Imagine the noise a shell slamming into your vehicle even if it dosnt penetrate!

What cain refers to is called spalling. Basically you apply enough force to seperate layers of tank armor. As you can imagine, that's a lot of force. Also, spall liners are designed to protect tank crew from this, and most modern tanks are pretty well protected from spalling.
While it isn't pleasant for an HE round to hit a tank or APC, it's probably going to be survivable. Even so, some concussion effect would be welcome. Currently there isn't even a budge when a tank gets hit, a little fuzzy vision would be a bit more realistic.

thanks for the support i really think that would be a good idea to add a little blur vision whne you get hit and if you get hit very hard you start to lose health if you dont leave the vehicle i would love this effect for the apc and the cars! Though in a tanks it should only get a blur vision without any lose of health! Anyone like the idea

I'm sure they will get military advice and look into the vehicle simulation for the next releases.
