6000 Seconds spawn time?

6000 Seconds spawn time?

I did go for commander on the assault map with the dam (don't know the name right now) and there was a spawn time of 6000 seconds - what is the reason?

I think it's a bug caused by the Officer's kit limitation. It sometimes says I'm not allowed to spawn as engineer, or rifleman. Just reselect your kit and you should be fine.

They're trying to tell you to go out and get something to eat, have a nice lunch with your GF, get a sammich, do something else.

I haven't seen this bug yet, but I'd try doing what Xander said, if that doesn't work reconnect.

It's the side effect of the python script that prevents you from spawning with the officer kit if you are not a commander or SL. I don't know the specifics (maybe an R-DEV will fill us in) but I think by default you start with a 6000 second spawn time and upon manually selecting a kit for the first time the python script will kick in and give you the proper spawn time, don't think the python script controlling this is able to do this when you first join the server so that is why you get stuck with that 6000 seconds at the start.
