Instant kill when getting into armor without crewman kit?

I got into a Tunguska and was instantly killed, forgot to request a crewman kit...is that something new or a bug? Usually it gives you a couple of seconds before it kills you, now it's instant kill?

Will check this one out when I find the opportunity. Should give you warning after 5 secs and kill after 5 more.

Well, at least the support truck didnt instantly kill me yesterday. I'll try it with other vehicles when i've time.
