helo piloting FPS spasm

For some reason I get massive amounts of FPS spasms while piloting, I can sit in a helo as a passenger quite happily, but while piloting it has these FPS hiccups.

The dreaded chopper lag. Its a weird phenomenon that comes and goes just depends on what mood the server is in.

You have it in Huey and Merlin right?


If so, then it's the famous, so called 'Merlin lag'.

For some reason those 2 custom made choppers lag for some players that try to pilot it.
Nobody knows why it happens and so there's no known fix .

I heard the Dev's are looking into it for the 0.8 Release.

Sometimes i get it on qinling with the merlin, the thing just freezes as soon as i get in it.


And on jabal, occasionally the huey just freezes for a few seconds...it unfreezes for you to find that in that time you've managed to flip it into both other hueys, killing everyone on the carrier, before the wrecks fall off the deck and onto a boatload of people in a RIB
