Repair Rate Too Slow To Repair Commander Assets!

Post by Heskey »

Alright guys, pretty simple bug.

The repair rate is now so low, that as soon as you repair a command post, it blows up in your face because it takes damage quicker than you can repair it.

I've just had it blow up about 20 times in 20 seconds:

Wrench
Blow up
Wrench
Blow up
Wrench
Blow up
Wrench
Blow Up

Is it designed to need more than 1 engineer, or is this a new bug?

I accidentally posted this in the wrong sub-forum! Sorry!

May well need more then 1 engineer with the slower, more teamplay based, repair and construction system. Don't quote me on it though.

The changes have are trying to force ppl to work together (ie more than one engineer repairing/building)
Think about it though, on a battlefield (IRL) your not going to get one engineer building a bunker/firebase, you would have a 'team' of engineer's building them.

It's not a bug - it's change in gameplay (and for the better IMO)

Yup! it makes it harder, but teamwork is hard (or can be, depending on who your working with) ;)
There he goes. One of God's own prototypes.
A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production.
Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

Actually this is intentional.

From the wikiguide:

#
# Command Post is deployed at 100% HP, if destroyed then friendlies must set C4 or SLAM demolitions in order to deconstruct it and then it can be reconstructed.

It spawns at 100%, so don't let it get destroyed or you'll have to build a new one and cost your team tickets.
