Bogged down file servers?
Is anyone else getting extremely slow download rates from the current 0.7 file servers?
I tried EVERY single one yesterday and never got a constant of more than 55K. Thats bloody rubbish. I tried them again today and its the same.
Anyone else getting this problem? I really want.7, ive been waiting for its release for ages, like everyone else. Anyone know a faster mirror?

You should have tried it on 31st December just after release then.Very nervous breakdown inducing that was.Hate to think how many computers came close to getting flying or kung-fu lessons that day.
I got it the next day off Fileplanet @ 246KB's which is as fast as my connection goes.

Always use a torrent if one supplied, the error checking is brilliant. It was designed as a business solution. Too many straight server downloads get corrupted so I always choose the torrent option (does depend on your ISP being nasty though in some cases and choking torrent clients off)
