Great model, I wanted to model a MP5 for a while. Its so smooth for how low poly count looks (from what the wire shot shows). What is the poly count btw?

sorry for the long reply time.. didnt have my MP5's on my laptop during the holiday :)

here is a screenshot from the editor.. as you can see, its still WIP and a lot of optimization can still be done, especially around the grip. So if I started to optimize it now I could probably bring this version down to 2000 or 2100 tris...

they look sexy and i hope they will be used somehow. I always liked the SD's, they just look nice.

The other game I play is Urban Terror. You've already done the IMI Negev (which is in UrT) and now you're doing the MP5k which is in urt too: http://www.urbanterror.net/urt_manual/weapons/mp55.jpg

I loved Urban terror for Quake 3, I also LOOOOOVED "True Combat" god that was fun. unfortunatly I only had 2 friends that wanted to play that mod with me :)

The G36 I am already doing :) just for fun. Dont know what army uses it (Germany?) if PR can use it, they can have it but I dont think so.

Give it a see through mag like Urban Terror :p

I liked True Combat a lot too! In a way it's very similar to the infantry combat in PR. I still play Urban Terror... the devs released the latest version about a week ago believe it or not! 4.1 LOL... they still develop it! And they are working on 4.2 now... It's a free game now you don't even need q3

german bundeswehr uses the g36, but with a different optic, outs is higher than the handle and looks somewhat ugly
Compare here, yours is an export variant

when can we some textures

HangMan: BF2 Editor, it has very strict limitations memory wise, and crashes all the time. Its like a girl. Treat it with respect and take it slow and you'll get places. Rush and get ahead of yourself and it will turn around and punch you in the mouth

I am working on a MP5A4 for Hamas though but its the lowest priority of these, it will be the first one textured, I'll post some renders of that one in a little while.

I'm afraid that giving one factions spec ops a SMG where all the rest have carbines would suck. and since the only kits that uses SMGs are crew related kits there is no point in giving them an SD... the SD was just a little practice thing from before spec ops kit was requstable.
