9 Lives?

Post by Darksyde024 »

I swear Soldiers have 9 lives.. Last night in most cases, it took as many as 5 hits to get a teamkill! (humor intended)

The first encounter i used "q" to spot and it said "enemy spotted!" (i didnt read that in the change, nor was i thinking about it)but i was like wow that looks friendly... i did it again it said enemy spotted.. no mini map... I Shoot.. hit... Tell squad Enemy location.. oh lord..

Anyway, Good job on the update! Ill force myself to get use to the changes i dont like. Such as the way over the top increased near hit vision blur.. i feel like i spend half the game getting my bell rung..

But i love the new bullet sounds!! VERY nice!@

You think thats bad FH2 suppression is WAY worse. Blur from grenades that go off 20 feet away from the INSIDE of a building and you get suppressed from one rifle round that manages to hit on the other side of the sandbag. Its just ridiculous.

Yeah i didnt like the fact that in FH2, a nade 100 yards away form you would blur and desaturate your vision. It doesn't make any sence, if it was like a 200lb bomb maby.

Yeah, I think so far we've got a good balance. I did stand up from behind a wall on fools road today, trying to rush inside a building, and did not at all notice that the person shaped dark spot next to the wall was in fact a brit. I think I noticed about the time he shot my team mate in the head and turned to blow me away.

Indeed. i personally like the balance between the blur and hitpoints in this version.

although, with my comp its a stretch to not lag when that happens, lol

May I humbly suggest that if one spends half of a round experiencing the "hit-blur" motion sickness thingybob, one is possibly attracting a litttttttle more enemy fire than is desireable? :p

Joking aside (and without sounding like too much of a cow I hope) - if you're taking that much enemy fire, hide better! :p

Hell yeah! In 0.7 it makes far more sense to run away and hide than to die once your RP is down. Falling back and retreating is now a very playable option (hence the shoutout option in the ComRose lol).
